Saggar Vase 2
SosaI am a long distance backpacker. I was inspired to do this collection after hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I spent the first two months in the southern California desert, falling in love with the colors and textures of the landscape. This wall hanging was created using ceramics and a Saggar firing technique that involves placing pottery inside a protective container along with combustible materials.
